Plan your day out the night before, at the beginning of the day or week so that you're not scrambling when you're hungry. This will help you resist temptation of quick and easy (often unhealthy) foods, fast-food restaurants or pastries left conveniently in the break room at work.
If you're serious about wanting to lose weight and lose it for you, planning is a necessity and needs to become a way of life. Ideally preplanning should become a habit - just like brushing your teeth.
