Flax Seed, Omega-3's and Cancer 09/01/2010
In animal models of ovarian cancer, researchers found that chickens supplemented with flax seed demonstrated a significant reduction in tumor size and severity and enjoyed overall improvements in health and mortality than those that were not supplemented with flax. Flax contains Omega-3 Fatty Acids, which can also be found in walnuts, fish oil, beans, and olive oil. Getting an adequate amount of Omega-3 each day is essential for our health. I recommend taking a high-quality Omega-3 supplement to ensure you are getting enough.
